I'll take initiative to return land of Civil Aviation Academy : Minister Pandey
KATHMANDU, Sep 30:Badri Pandey, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, has stated that he will take the initiative to get back the land in the name of the Civil Aviation Academy .
On Thursday, Minister Pandey inaugurated the ATS-SIMULATOR and AIR TRAFFIC SERVICES training offered by the Civil Aviation Academy .
In 2076, the government reclaimed the land formerly owned by the Civil Aviation Academy. Nobody can take back the educational institution's land. I convey my determination to bring it back after speaking with the honorable Prime Minister," he said.
Minister Pandey assured that after the return of the land, necessary structures will be created to produce skilled manpower. Stating that the land of the academy is insufficient, he reiterated his commitment to return the land taken by the government to the academy.
Minister Pandey emphasized that the manpower produced by the establishment should play an important role in convincing the Nepalese sky to be safe. He said, "If the civil aviation sector is weak, we will not be able to show much. It is necessary to work in such a way that the message that Nepal's skies are safe with us. The wrong comment and tendency that it is unsafe should be stopped.
Minister Pandey stated that the government will take the necessary steps to ensure Nepal's airlines are safe and reliable.
