45th World Tourism Day: Hotel Association Pokhara Nepal welcomes tourists with free accommodation and food
POKHARA, Sep 30:On the 45th World Tourism Day, three tourists who arrived in Pokhara by road on Friday were welcomed with special honors. The honor was presented to the three foreign tourists who arrived in Pokhara first by tourist bus at a ceremony held in Ammat, Pokhara.
Laxman Subedi, president of the Hotel Association Pokhara Nepal, stated that the association arranged free accommodation and meals as a reward for the tourists.
On behalf of the association, Atithi Resort and Spa, Glacier Hotel, and Hotel Crown Himalayas have arranged for the tourists' accommodation and meals. On the occasion of Tourism Day, the association has organized a 20% discount on listed hotel room prices for all tourists visiting Pokhara. The effort to welcome tourists arriving in Pokhara by air was hampered by bad weather.
Tourists arriving by road were welcomed at the tourist bus park at Rastra Bank Chowk. The four-day Tourism Day program, led by the Pokhara Tourism Council, includes a Mini Road Festival by REBAN Pokhara, a homestay program by VITOF Gandaki, a Talk Show by the Council, rafting by NARA Pokhara, a Tourist Vehicle Rally by NTVA, trekking by TAAN Gandaki, a blood donation program by NATTA Gandaki, and aarti and mountain race are among the programs offered by many organizations, including the Ministry of Tourism Gandaki. The Tourism Day program, which was arranged under the core slogan of tourism and peace, concluded on Saturday.
