Koshi province government announced 'Koshi Province Tourism Year 2082'

BIRATNAGAR, Sep 28:The Koshi Province government announced 2082 to be the 'Koshi Province Tourism Year' with the slogan 'Ramaniya Koshi'.

On the occasion of World Tourism Day, Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki announced 'Koshi Province Tourism Year 2082' in Biratnagar on Friday.

For the tourism year, the government has also created a list of '82 tourist destinations for 82'.

The current fiscal year's annual policy and program prioritizes 'Koshi Province Tourism Year 2082', according to Chief Minister Karki.

The government has allotted a budget of $100 million for the tourist year. Similarly, the government has budgeted 1 billion 70 million for tourism infrastructure and other tourism-related issues.

Kechna the lowest point of Nepal and the world's highest peak Everest is in Koshi Province. Koshi Province also contains five of the world's top ten highest mountains.
