"Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association Celebrates Second Anniversary "
KATHMANDU, Sep 27:The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association (HSMA) marked its second anniversary with a successful "Sales Retreat Program" at Chitlang Resort from September 20 to 21. The event attracted over 60 sales and marketing leaders from major hotels across Nepal, fostering collaboration and networking within the industry.
The program aimed to promote development and cooperation in the hospitality sector. It featured discussions on effective marketing strategies, public relations, and communication tactics. Participants had the opportunity to meet both new and existing members, share experiences, and explore future collaboration opportunities.
Deepak Pokhrel, Coordinator of the Association and Program Manager from Paradise Inn, highlighted the significance of the event in strengthening business relations among members. He stated, “This program has played an important role in highlighting the importance of cooperation in the Nepali hospitality industry.” He also noted plans to operate more effectively in Chitwan for future programs.
Pradeep Paudel of Hotel Yellow Pagoda emphasized the vital role of sales and marketing in attracting new members. He remarked, “More than 200 members have taken this event not only as a celebration of success but also as an important opportunity to contribute to the progress of Nepal's tourism sector.”
Laxmi Shrestha from Tiger Tops expressed her enthusiasm for the growing unity within the association. She shared, “We started with few members, but today our membership has grown to over 200. Our main objective is to jointly contribute to the long-term development of Nepal's tourism and hospitality sector.”
The event included visits to local attractions such as the historic Satdhara area and Indra Sarovar Lake. This allowed participants to experience the beauty of their surroundings while strengthening their professional ties.
As HSMA continues to play a crucial role in Nepal's hotel industry and tourism promotion, it remains committed to fostering collaboration among its members. The association looks forward to future initiatives that will further enhance business opportunities within the hospitality sector.
