Singapore Airlines to use Boeing Dreamliners for their flights during Dasain Tihar.

KATHMANDU, Sep 25:Singapore Airlines will use Dreamliner-10 series aircraft during Dashain Tihar.

GSA Everest Express Tours and Travel for Nepal, said that Singapore Airlines plans to operate with a 337-seat aircraft on Mondays and Thursdays, depending on the number of passengers.

Sudhir Pandey, the company's owner, stated that because the number of passengers will increase from October to November, they are planning to fly with larger planes.

Generally, a huge number of Nepalis come home for Dashain Tihar. This is also the tourist season. We intend to fly the Dreamliner-10 series due to the large number of foreign tourists," said Pandey. Out of 337 seats on the Dreamliner, 36 are business class and the remainder are economy class.

Singapore Airlines now operates seven flights per week to Kathmandu using the Boeing 757.
