The citation, themed "Together for 100," celebrated the 100th anniversary of Toastmasters International and focused on Nepal Toastmasters' goal to expand to 100 clubs by 2026.

The event featured a keynote address by Mr. Atul Satya Koushik, a renowned motivational speaker from Mumbai, whose speech on leadership and communication received a standing ovation.

This year’s Communicator Award 2024 was presented to Mr. Bhusan Dahal, a distinguished media personality, in recognition of his exceptional communication skills. The award is annually given to a non-Toastmaster who has significantly contributed to effective communication.

Speaking on the success of the event, Moon Pradhan, DTM, District Director of District 41, said, "This year's citation has truly embodied the spirit of unity and growth within our Toastmasters community in Nepal. We are proud to see the progress and are excited about the future of Toastmasters in Nepal as we aim for 100 clubs by 2026."

The event also included a Humorous Speech Showcase with participants from five divisions, a stand-up comedy performance by Toastmaster Seema Golchha, and various entertainment segments showcasing member talents through dance and music. A team-building session led by Ms. Prachi Jain fostered collaboration among the attendees, while group activities and door prizes added to the overall enjoyment.

The success of CITATION 2024 underscores the growing influence and dedication of Toastmasters in Nepal, continually raising the standard for future events.
