KATHMANDU, Sep 23:Fairfield by Marriott Thamel and Kathmandu Marriott Hotel joined forces on September 20, 2024, to celebrate World Cleanup Day with the "Thamel Cleanup Day" initiative. This event underscores their commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement in Kathmandu.
The cleanup effort aims to beautify the Thamel area, reflecting the hotels' dedication to creating a cleaner city. By actively engaging in community service, the Marriott Corporation demonstrates its belief in the power of hospitality to effect positive change.
Mr. Gaurav Agarwal, Managing Director of both hotels, emphasized their responsibility to give back, stating, "This initiative allows us to not only clean the streets but also build a stronger, more sustainable community together."
