Kumari Bank provides insurance payout of Rs.1 million to Family Protection Savings Account holder

KATHMANDU:Kumari Bank paid the account holder Rs.1 million in accident insurance as part of the Family Protection Savings Account Scheme.

Susma Shrestha, a resident of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-2 in Chitwan, died in an accident, and her husband, Indra Narayan Shrestha, was handed over a Rs. 1 million insurance payout. The funds was handed over from the bank's Pokhara Buspark branch.  After receiving the insurance claim from Sanima GIC Insurance, the payment was made via Kumari Bank.

In the Family Protection Savings Account, the bank offers excellent insurance options. In this account, four members of the family, including the account holder, can receive insurance benefits of up to 26 lakh rupees. The account covers accidental injuries, death, total physical disability, medical treatment, and terminal sickness.

Kumari Bank has been offering insurance and other outstanding services to its customers for the past five years through the Family Security Savings Account Scheme.
