KATHMANDU, Sep 16:Siddharth Hotel Damauli, a three-star hotel under the Siddharth Group, has opened in Damauli, Tanahun's administrative headquarters.
Baikunth Neupane, the leader of Byas Municipality, officially inaugurated the hotel on Thursday, stating that Damauli has recently developed as a tourist town, with increased investment.
"Damauli is being developed as a tourist city, recently, 108 statues have been built since the construction of the Beas-Devghat corridor," according to him.
He stated that for the first time, a three-star hotel with facilities has been established in Damauli, and that the need to travel to Bandipur, Pokhara, and other locations to hold any program in the past has stopped.
Noting that Damauli is still in the development phase and that infrastructure such as hotels are still required, he stated that there are numerous investment opportunities here.
Apex Hospitality Limited built the hotel under the 'Siddharth Batika' brand, and Siddharth Hospitality manages it.
Mukund Timalsina, President of Apex Hospitality Limited, stated that the hotel was created to meet the demands of Damauli, a growing tourist attraction.
"Initially, the construction of the building was started with the concept of a commercial complex, but finally a hotel with facilities and two cinemas have been put into operation here," he told me.
He stated that Damauli is ideal for tourists visiting Pokhara, Kathmandu, and Chitwan, as well as for hosting local meetings and conferences, weddings, and fast bands.
The hotel features 34 rooms, including deluxe and junior suites.
There is also one auditorium with a capacity of roughly 150 people and two halls that can accommodate about 40 people each. The hotel also features an all-day dining restaurant, a bar restaurant, and a Siddharth cafe.
The hotel is situated 150 kilometers west of Kathmandu and 50 kilometers east of Pokhara. Underground parking and electric charging are also available to accommodate a sufficient number of vehicles.
It is said that around 2,000 individuals have found direct employment in Siddharth Hospitality's service network, which stretches from Birtamod in the east to Mahendranagar in the west.
He stated that he has partnered with Siddharth Group for hotel management because of Nepal's extensive hospitality network, international-level service, dependability, and effective management.
Krishna Neupane, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Siddharth Group, expressed his hope that the hotel's operation will contribute to the growth of tourism in the area.
