Shyam Bahadur Pandey posthumously received 'PP Prasai Tourism Lifetime Achievement Award'

KATHMANDU, Sep 11:Shyam Bahadur Pandey, a tourism entrepreneur, has received the 'PP Prasai Tourism Lifetime Achievement Award-2024' posthumously.

On Thursday, Education, Science, and Technology Minister Vidya Bhattarai presented Pandey's son Prabin  Pandey with the PP Prasai Foundation Award.

Pandey, the former president of the Hotel Association Nepal and founder of the Shangrila Hotel, was a prominent figure in Nepal's tourism industry.
