Narayan Prasad Regmi became Director General of Department of Tourism

KATHMANDU, Sep 05:The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation has appointed Joint Secretary Narayan Prasad Regmi as the Department of Tourism's Director General. 

Joint Secretary Narayan Prasad Regmi has taken over as Director General of the Department of Tourism.

Previously, Director General Rudra Prasad Pandit was transferred to the National Planning Commission. The ministry has assigned Regmi to the vacant position.

Director General Regmi is a joint secretary who has previously worked for the Ministries of Labor, Employment, and Social Security, Industry, Trade, and Supply, Federal Affairs, and General Administration.

He was transferred from General Administration to the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation during the August 16 Cabinet meeting (Shrawan 31).
