KATHMANDU, Sep 03:Lumbini Buddhist University and the Siddhartha Institute of Hospitality under Siddhartha Business Group of Hospitality, have inked a collaboration agreement.

The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Harisharan Chankhu, Dean of the University's Humanities and Sociology Department, and Chintamani Neupane, President of Siddharth Business Group, at an event in Kathmandu.

The two institutions have inked a partnership to enable students pursuing a Bachelor of Hospitality and Tourism Management (BHTM) degree with academic and practical knowledge of Buddhist philosophy, as well as an opportunity to earn.

Lumbini Buddhist University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Subarna Lal Bajracharya expressed his delight at the signing of a collaboration agreement with the prestigious Siddhartha Business Group for the purpose of studying, researching, and collaborating on various aspects of Buddhist philosophy. He stated that this type of engagement is expected to help the institution achieve greater academic quality and generate qualified personnel, while also benefiting the entire business sector.

It is our hope that after the study is completed, the skilled labor needed for this area will be developed. Every year after Plus Two, a considerable number of students migrate abroad to further their education. "Through this collaboration, students can study and earn, so we believe that they can be stopped in the country, even if to some extent," said Chintamani Neupane, president of Siddharth Business Group.

After completing their studies, we hope that students will be able to recover the majority of their overall educational expenses. The course was also constructed properly. Krishna Prasad Neupane, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Siddharth Business Group, stated, "Students will be able to earn by taking practical classes in various hotels, resorts, and cafes under Siddharth Hospitality."

Dean Chankhu of the institution expressed his enthusiasm for working with Siddharth, a well-known brand in Nepal's hospitality industry.

The program included University Registrar Dr. Tilakram Acharya, professors, officers, senior staff, Siddharth Business Group President Neupane, Vice President Krishna Prasad Bhandari, General Secretary Muktiram Bhandari, CEO Neupane, and senior staff from Siddharth Hospitality and Siddharth Institute.
