Air crash report of inquiry committee should be reviewed: Tourism Minister Pandey

KATHMANDU, Sep 01:Badri Pandey, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, has stated that it is time to check if the report provided by the inquiry committee formed following the air crash is factual.

On Thursday, Minister Pandey spoke at a two-day air safety course conducted by the Airlines Operators Association of Nepal (AOAN).

'An inquiry committee has been established. It is time to assess how real and fact-based the investigative committee is,' he added. 'If the report provided was factual, why is it not being implemented? It's time to think about it.

He stated that domestic air passengers' confidence in the aviation sector has weakened. Minister Pandey stressed the importance of interested bodies taking this seriously and being aware of the situation.
