Yeti Airlines carried more than five lakh passengers in 7 months

KATHMANDU, Sep 01:The number of passengers flying with Yeti Airlines has increased significantly.

According to data from January to July 2024, Yeti Airlines carried 5,00,230 passengers.This is a 1,12,046 increase over the same period previous year. Yeti Airlines carried 3,88,184 passengers throughout the same period last year.

The number of international passengers flying with Yeti Airlines has increased by 105 percent, with the Pokhara sector seeing the most passengers, according to the airline.

We added two ATR-72 planes last Magh when Asian Life Insurance Company Limited joined us as a partner. Along with the addition of planes, we have increased the number of flights to all destinations, thereby improving flight security. We are quite happy about the increase in passenger numbers," said Yuvaraj Bista, the airline's Chief Business Officer.

He stated that they intend to aggressively develop the industry, and that in order to make air travel safe and comfortable, they have been offering passengers with chocolate, peanuts, and drink since last June.

Yeti Airlines currently operates seven ATR aircraft.
