Ashish Agarwal gets elected as President of CNIYEF

KATHMANDU:Ashish Agarwal has been elected President of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries' Young Entrepreneurs Forum (CNIYEF). The CNIYEF's annual general meeting formed a new working committee for 2024-2025, chaired by Agarwal.

The working committee, which includes Manish Shrestha (Learning Chair), Sugam Ghimire (Member Integration Chair), Nida Doon Malla (Membership Chair), Punit Agarwal (Finance Chair), Ankur Agarwal (Network and Communication Chair), Chirag Sarawagi (Growth and Expansion Chair), and Shiny Khetan (Start-up Chair), has been elected. Anurag Goyal previously served as president from 2023 to 2024.

While celebrating and greeting the new officials, CNI President Rajesh Kumar Agarwal directed the CNIYEF to make policy recommendations to the government and regulatory agencies based on youth-related research. He underlined the importance of encouraging young entrepreneurs to contribute to the country's overall economic development by increasing employment and developing industry.

Anurag Goyal, the outgoing president of CNIYEF, expressed confidence that the new management will try to propel the organization to new heights.

The newly elected president Agarwal stated that start-ups and young entrepreneurs require encouragement, and that he would conduct such activities to encourage young people who want to do something for the country. Aggarwal joined the business sector in 2013 and is currently the Director of Tarsus Pharma.

The CNIYEF is a youth organization of the CNI that was established in 2008. The platform has prioritized the development and promotion of emerging entrepreneurs.
