36th AGM of National Life Insurance conducted
KATHMANDU:The 36th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of National Life Insurance Company Limited has concluded.
The company stated that the AGM was held on August 23, under the chairmanship of Prema Singh, the company's president.
President Singh stated in the AGM that the national and international economic projections for the review year 2079/080 do not look promising. He stated that while the global economy is improving, it remains tough.
She stated that rising interest rates, less capital spending, and lower overall demand have all had a negative impact on the domestic economy.
She stated that, while the life insurance business did not grow as anticipated in the fiscal year 2079/080, it has established a course for progress in the fiscal year 2080/081.
All financial indicators for the company in the year 2079/080 are positive. The company's overall insurance fee climbed by 16.66%, reaching Rs. 1,680.90 crore.
By continuing maintaining a balance between commercial goals and corporate social responsibility, the company was able to transfer an amount equal to Rs 97,33,150/- as 1 percent of net profit in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
