KATHMANDU: Food lovers in Kathmandu are about to experience a unique culinary journey that will transport them straight to the vibrant streets of Lucknow. From August 23 to August 25, 2024, Aloft Kathmandu Thamel’s signature restaurant, Nook, will host a special event dedicated to showcasing the rich and regal flavors of Lucknow’s royal cuisine.

This exclusive event will feature the expertise of Chef Mujeeb Ur Rehman, a culinary maestro renowned for his mastery of Awadhi cuisine, which originates from the royal kitchens of Lucknow. Known for its refined and delicate flavors, Awadhi cuisine is famous for its use of slow-cooking techniques and aromatic spices that create dishes of unmatched taste and elegance. Joining him is Aloft Kathmandu’s Executive Chef, Rajeev Shrestha, who will collaborate to craft a menu that honors the culinary traditions of Lucknow while offering a unique dining experience for guests in Kathmandu.

Over the course of three days, diners will have the opportunity to savor an array of authentic Lucknowi dishes that capture the essence of this storied cuisine. From rich curries and tender kebabs to fragrant biryanis and decadent desserts, the menu promises to be a feast for the senses.
