CAAN appoints Prabhakar Chandra Mallik as its chief of flight safety

KATHMANDU, Aug 16:The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has appointed Engineer Prabhakar Chandra Mallik as its Flight Safety Chief.

Mallik was appointed chief of flight security during the CAAN board meeting on August 9.

He was previously the Head of the 'Airworthiness' Division.

Mallik has worked previously as an aeronautical engineer for Cosmic Air, Sita Air, and Emirates Air.

Mukul Mishra previously served as the CAAN's head of aviation security. Mishra has now been assigned as the department leader of Gautam Buddha International Airport.
