Machhapuchhre Bank provides affordable loans to students going abroad through ECAN

KATHMANDU:Machhapuchchhre Bank and the Educational Consultancy Association of Nepal (ECAN) Jhapa have signed a commercial partnership to provide special banking services.

The two parties have signed an agreement to provide subsidized loans and education loans to students studying in various countries from ECAN-affiliated businessmen and an ECAN-affiliated educational consultancy center.

President Roshan Subedi represented ECAN Jhapa, while Assistant General Manager Bharat Kumar Lamsal represented Machhapuchchhre Bank Ltd.

After the agreement, the customer who comes on the recommendation of the consultants affiliated with ECAN, Jhapa can easily and simply get the full service from all branch offices of the bank, including obtaining educational loans and paying various fees through Swift payment.

Machhapuchchhre Bank presently serves over 1.5 million customers through 165 branch offices, 12 extension counters, branchless banking services at 167 locations, and ATMs in 200 locations across the country's seven provinces.
