Air Dynasty helicopter crashes after not following VFR:CAAN

KATHMANDU, Aug 13:The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has stated that the helicopter of the Air Dynasty crashed due to the weakness of the crew.

The director general of the CAAN, Engineer Pradeep Adhikari, gave an initial response to the meeting of the International Relations and Tourism Committee under the Federal Parliament House of Representatives on Thursday.

He also said that the detailed distribution of it will be given by the inquiry committee formed by the government.

The CAAN claims that the accident occurred when the helicopter entered a cloudy area in bad weather that was not permitted by Civil Aviation's Visual Flight Route (VFR).

The director general submitted an argument stating that it is prohibited for helicopters to enter clouds or places where they cannot be seen by the eye, contrary to VFR permission, and the crew is responsible for it.
