Tourism Minister's one-month ministry-level work schedule announced

KATHMANDU, Aug 13:Badri Pandey, the Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, has issued a one-month program.

During the fourth quarter progress assessment of the fiscal year 2080-81 and a meeting of the ministerial development problem committee, he announced a one-month timeline to ensure the ministry's work is effective.

According to the timetable, Pandey will have departmental level discussions at the ministry every Wednesday beginning next month. He stated that he is working at a high level to achieve the aims and objectives, and that the first Wednesday of Bhadra 5th, Culture Department, 12th Tourism Department, 19th Civil Aviation Department, and the last Wednesday of the month would all be discussed together.

He stated that the people are suffering because the country is not part of the system, and that employees should be encouraged and motivated rather than discouraged in order to bring them into it.

Pandey stated that he will seek to develop effective governance by eliminating economic irregularities and corruption.
