Raghu Nandan Maru elected as President of Cement Manufacturers Association

KATHMANDU:Raghu Nandan Maru, the Managing Director of Shivam Cement, has been unanimously elected Chairman of the Nepal Cement Manufacturers Association's new Working Committee.

At the association's 20th annual general meeting, Maru was elected president for the following three years. Chairman Maru has a long time of associated in the cement sector.

As Nepal becomes self-sufficient in cement, cooperation between the cement producer association and the government from the private sector should be carried out for things like solving long-term and short-term problems related to the cement industry, stability, quality production, and market management, and all cement industries, along with limestone mining, forestry, electricity, etc. President Maru stated that many obstacles, including financial and local problems, will be coordinated with the appropriate agencies.

The Nepal Cement Manufacturers Association elected a new working committee at its 20th annual general meeting.

Raghu Nandan Maru, past President Dhurba Thapa, Vice President Tara Pokharel, Bikash Dugad, General Secretary Rajaram Khadka, and Treasurer Arun Karna.

 

 

Nipesh Tayal, Shobhakar Neupane, Tenzing Lakden Tamang, Aditya Shanghai, Bishnu Agarwal, Nandi Keshar Paudel, Keshav Prasad Upreti, Huang Si Jung, and Anil Ruganta were unanimously chosen to the new working committee. Rajan Kumar Jha has been unanimously invited  as an invited member of the association.

Similarly, Purushottamlal Sanghai, Pashupati Muraraka, and Sahil Agarwal have been appointed as advisors.
