Shika Jika Sessions at Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu: A Night to Remember
KATHMANDU, Aug 02:Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu hosted the Shika Jika Sessions an event that redefined corporate social responsibility (CSR) via art and community participation. The "Redefining CSR at Fairfield" event seeks to bring together the community in a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and charitable giving.
A pottery making session was also conducted, in which attendees paid a Rs 1000 charge to participate and could create three pots. The funds raised from the pottery-making sessions will be used to purchase a pottery machine for the children of the Blind Children Educational Center, enhancing their educational and creative opportunities.
Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu has a history of engaging in meaningful CSR activities. Previously, we partnered with Baby Life Home to give children an opportunity to recreate their imagination through various creative initiatives.
Similarly, with our current involvement with the Blind Children Educational Center, we aim to provide these children with better resources and opportunities to nurture their talents.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors, Artbeat, Dignified Workplace and Shangrila Beverages, whose support has been instrumental in making this event possible.
Join us for an afternoon of artistic expression and community spirit as we work together to make a difference in the lives of children in need.
