Home Minister Lekhak stated that we will investigate the plane crash of Saurya Airlines
KATHMANDU, July 24:Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has stated that he will conduct an investigation into the Saurya Airlines plane crashed.
The plane crashed shortly after taking off from Tribhuvan International Airport for Pokhara at 11:11 a.m. on Wednesday.
Captain Manish Shakya is the lone survivor on board, and 18 people have died.
The Home Minister, who visited the scene of the incident, stated that a horrible tragedy had occurred and that he would investigate it.
"A tragic incident has occurred, we will investigate the plane crashed," Lekhak told reporters at the scene. "We will investigate in detail, we also have to study how and why the crashed happened." After studying, concrete steps should be taken to avoid crashed.
The Home Minister stated that the government will endeavor to prevent air crashed through clear policy, legal, technological, and human resource initiatives.
Following the plane crashed, firefighters, the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Police were dispatched to the scene.
Captain Shakya was rescued and transported to the hospital for treatment. He can speak and is not in danger, according to the police, who quoted physicians.
Saurya Airlines's call sign, 9N-AME/CRJ 200, was involved in an crashed on Wednesday morning.
