Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank receives National Best Annual Report Award

KATHMANDU:Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has received the Chartered Accountant Institute's National Best Annual Report Award 2023. The bank got a Silver Award in the financial services industry.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) presented the award based on the organization's fiscal year 2022/23 annual report for financial transparency, accountability, and good governance.

The bank presented the data to shareholders and stakeholders in an exemplary manner in the financial statement that will be submitted at its 17th Annual General Meeting.

Bishnu Prasad Paudel, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, handed out the award to the bank's CEO, Dinesh Thakali.

The bank's awarded annual report will also be nominated for the SAFA BPA Award, which is organized at the South Asian level on behalf of Nepal.

Kamana Sewa Bikas is also Nepal's first development bank to acquire the worldwide quality certification ISO 9001:2015.
