REBAN Pokhara concluded its five-day advanced bakery training
POKHARA, July 22:The five-day advanced baking training provided by the Restaurant and Bar Association (REBAN ) Pokhara has concluded.
Chefs from REBAN's linked restaurants received training in partnership with Palm Netherlands and Nepal Tourism and Hotel Management College Chhinedanda. At the closing ceremony, Ashok Palikhe, president of the institution and a prominent tourism businessman, stated that emphasis should be placed on the development of qualified labor to provide great taste and hospitality for visitors to Pokhara, the tourist hub.
He stated that the more training available, the more skilled workforce will be generated, which will assist Pokhara's tourism industry. "Remembering that he first tasted bread five decades ago, he stated that there is now a potential to simply create international-level bread and serve it to guests.
Tara Shrestha, a participant in the course, stated that it helped them improve their skills and learn new techniques to manufacture quality bakery items. He believes that the training will enable him to progress professionally in the future days.
Sod Zalema, a Dutch bakery coach, expressed his delight at being able to visit Nepal and offer his expertise. He stated that he enjoyed teaching due to the active participation of the bakery training participants and that this type of training can benefit not just local businesses but the tourism sector as a whole.
Basanta Gautam, the training coordinator, stated that the tranning was designed with the goal of improving the quality of service at the lakeside restaurant by providing hygienic and appetizing bakery items. He stated that the program intends to deliver international-level knowledge and technology while emphasizing excellent business and producing competent labor.
