Prabhu Bank and AOne Greater Nepal Transport have an agreement about a digital payment system
KATHMANDU:Prabhu Bank Limited and Aone Greater Nepal Transport Pvt Ltd signed an agreement to implement a cashless payment system.
With this arrangement, taxi entrepreneurs will be able to easily withdraw monies from their Prabhu Bank accounts and obtain detailed account information via the mobile application.
On Wednesday, Prabhu Bank Limited and AOne Greater Nepal Transport Pvt Ltd signed an agreement to transfer money and make payments via various bank finance and other channels, pay fees, and integrate public transport payments into the electronic payment system.
Shanti Sherchan, Chief Business Center Officer, Gandaki Province of Prabhu Bank, Raju Rana Magar, Chief Regional Officer of the Bank, and Arjun Paudel, President, signed the agreement on behalf of A One Greater Nepal Transport Pvt Ltd.
In particular, procedures have been created enabling public transit clients to conveniently pay taxi fares using the QR code issued by Prabhu Bank to the taxi drivers.
According to the bank, there is a program in place to deliver QR, debit card, and digital awareness materials to over 200 taxi drivers working in the business.
The bank has confidence that the new memorandum will assist service users and taxi companies by implementing an electronic system in public transportation in Pokhara, the tourism capital.
