Citizens Bank announces an 8.99 percent home loan scheme

KATHMANDU:Citizens Bank International Limited has announced the scheme, 'Shape your dream home, Citizens home loan will make it come true', which will begin with the new fiscal year 2081/82.

The bank announced a house loan scheme with an annual interest rate of 8.99% fixed for seven years.

The interest rate under this scheme will be fixed for seven years. Suman Mulepati, the bank's chief loan officer, announced that after 7 years, the interest rate will be fixed by adding 15 premium rates to the bank's existing average monthly base rate.

According to the bank, to join in this attractive scheme, customers can visit any Citizens Bank branch office in their locality and take use of the service.

According to the bank, customers who use this home loan facility receive free credit cards, debit cards, and a 50% discount on locker facility fees for the first year.

The bank serves around 1.8 million customers through its 197 branches, 160 ATMs, 3 extension counters, and 98 branchless banking units located in 60 districts.
