Sanima Bank to provide financial support for treatment of underprivileged women at Patan Hospital.
KATHMANDU:Sanima Bank Limited and Patan Hospital have signed an agreement to provide financial assistance for the treatment of underprivileged women.
Sanima Bank will provide financial support to Patan Hospital for the treatment of low-income women for the next year, according to the agreement. Since 2074 BS, the bank has provided financial support for the hospital's care of underprivileged women.
Sanima Bank offers a monthly deposit of Rs.1 and has been collecting money for women's relief funds. According to the bank, the money raised in the fund would be used to treat poor women at various hospitals across the country.
The agreement was signed by the hospital's director, Dr. Ravi Shakya, and the bank's chief deposit officer, Hemraj Sanjyal, at an event held on the Patan Hospital premises.
Sanima Bank has 133 offices and 124 ATMs in all seven provinces of the country.
