Global IME Bank & IME signs agreement with JALSAN
KATHMANDU:A tripartite agreement of understanding has been signed by Global IME Bank Limited, IME Limited, and the Japanese Language School Association of Nepal (JALSAN).
The deal was signed by Suman Pokharel, the bank's Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Khilendra Paudel, CEO of IME Limited, and Ramesh Devkota, President of JALSAN.
According to the deal, a tripartite agreement has been established to provide cheap educational loans to students wishing to pursue higher education in Japan.
The bank will provide necessary educational loans to students recommended by Jalsan for higher education in various universities in Japan.
The bank's educational loan will assist students interested in studying financial management in Japan.
The bank would disburse educational loans to students and parents recommended by Jalsan who apply to the bank's branch office with the relevant paperwork and information.
Similarly, IME Limited will make it easier for students to coordinate with banks and Jalsan to pay for college fees, visa fees, and other expenses associated with higher education. Students can easily send money from Japan to their home countries through IME.
The bank operates more than 1,100 service centers, which include 354 branch offices, 384 ATMs, 277 branchless banking services, 68 extension and revenue collection counters, and three overseas representative offices.
