Global IME Bank partners with NAS IT to promote sustainability in Nepal's IT sector
KATHMANDU:Global IME Bank and the Nepal Association of Software and IT Services (NAS-IT) have agreed to form a long-term partnership.
The agreement was signed by the Bank's Chief Market Officer, Dilip Pokharel, and the NAS-IT Treasurer, Abhay Paudel. They signed in the presence of NAS-IT President Richan Shrestha and Deputy CEO Suman Pokharel.
Global IME is the first sustainability partner to sponsor NAS-IT's unfunded sustainability fund.
According to the agreement, the bank will provide easy and accessible financial services to NAS-IT-related company and their personnel.
Furthermore, the bank stated in a news release on Monday that the program will be designed to improve the knowledge, abilities, and experience of both company and affiliated personnel by conducting skill-oriented seminars.
Pokharel, the Bank's Deputy Chief Executive Officer, stated that the agreement will prove to be a milestone in the development, expansion and commercialization of information technology in the context of the government's announcement that the next financial year will be celebrated as the departure year of the information technology decade.
