HAN delegation returned from Bangladesh

KATHMANDU, July 09:The Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) team has returned from Bangladesh. The delegation that left on June 20 under the leadership of the HAN's president, Binayak Shah, returned on Sunday.

During their stay in Bangladesh, the 18-person team attended B2B meetings with over 100 tourism professionals and marketed the destination.

The HAN's press release states that at the B2B conference, the problem of boosting the number of Bangladeshi tourists in Nepal and providing them with quality services was discussed.

President Binayak Shah stated that the HAN hopes that as the number of Bangladeshi visitors traveling overseas for vacations and corporate activities increases, so will their arrival in Nepal. The HAN has signed an agreement with five different tourism-related groups in Bangladesh to promote tourism.

The number of visitors visiting Nepal from Bangladesh has been steadily increasing in recent months. Bangladesh Tourism Board Deputy Director Saiful Hasan stated that cooperation with Nepal will be expanded.
