HAN delegation departed for Bangladesh with aim to increase number of Bangladeshi tourists

KATHMANDU, July 05:A delegation from the Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN) departed Kathmandu for Dhaka on Thursday. The team went in with the goal of increasing the number of Bangladeshi tourists in the country, as planned.

A 21-member delegation led by Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN) President Binayak Shah departed for Bangladesh on Thursday with the aim of attracting Bangladeshi tourists, according to the HAN's General Secretary, Sajan Shakya.

Dhaka, Bangladesh's capital, has a special event planned for Friday. He said that a B2B program promoting tourism is being held in the presence of notable tourism businesses, tour operators, and Bangladeshi government officials from several cities in Bangladesh, as well as the Nepali ambassador to Bangladesh and media representatives.

He stated that while in Dhaka, the HAN's delegation will sign an agreement with the Bangladesh International Hotel Association on bilateral tourist marketing, training, and practice exchange in the hotel sector.

The program is scheduled to run from July 4 to 7, in collaboration with the Nepal Tourism Board and the Nepal Embassy in Bangladesh.
