NIC Asia Bank launches its MasterCard service

KATHMANDU:NIC Asia Bank has launched a Mastercard service to strengthen the payment system. On Sunday, a special program was held in Pokhara to debut the service.

MasterCard is a debit card that can be obtained at any of the bank's branch offices. Mastercard uses the latest security technology (EMV chip) and the latest contactless technology.

Customers can use the card to withdraw cash from ATMs in Nepal, India, and Bhutan, as well as make POS and e-commerce payments.

The bank serves customers through 360 branch locations, 670 ATMs, 118 extended counters, and 51 branchless branch networks.
