NAC celebrated its 66th anniversary

KATHMANDU, July 02:Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) celebrated its 66th anniversary on Monday.

The NAC  celebrated its anniversary by worshiping Akash Bhairav using the Vedic method.

On this occasion, a function was held. Executive Chairman Yuvraj Adhikari delivered a welcome speech, and Civil Aviation Minister Hit Bahadur Tamang sent his best wishes to the Corporation. On this occasion, the NAC has arranged the Prabhat Feri program. The NAC's headquarters began on Kantipath and ended through Newroad, Bhotahiti, Bhadrakali, and Shahid Gate until arriving at the NAC's premises.

As part of a week-long event celebrating the corporation's 66th anniversary, a free health camp for all employees was held at the central office on June 21. The table tennis tournament concluded on June 26. In the men's competition, Pritam Prasad Pradhan, deputy director of the NAC, was the first, while Yubraj Adhikari, the executive chairman of the NAC, was the second.

According to the NAC, the deputy director of the NAC, Sabina Shakya, is the first for women.  On this occasion, a blood donation program was held on June 27 at the NAC's central office and airport. During that event, 218 NAC employees donated blood. Similarly, on Friday, June 28, a friendly football match was organized between the airport team and the head office team.

Minister Tamang awarded medals, trophies, and certificates to the winners at the annual festival on Monday.

Executive Chairman Yubraj Adhikari and Deputy General Manager Doleshwar Koirala awarded medals, trophies, and certificates to the other players.
