Machhapuchchhre Bank provides Gokuldham with a 10-lakh support
KATHMANDU:Machhapuchchhre Bank provided Pushkarini Charity Gokuldham (Gaushala), which is located in Pokhara Metropolitan City's Ward No. 14 Bachchivuduwa, over 10 lakh cash support. On behalf of the bank, Shareholder Prem Kumari KC, Director Roshan KC, and CEO Santosh Koirala handed out the assistance amount to Gokuldham.
Gokuldham, managed by the Pokhara Metropolitan Municipality, is a shelter for animals abandoned on the street. Gokuldham presently has over 250 Cattle. Cattle abandoned on the streets of the metropolitan city were brought to Gokuldham and preserved.
Director Roshan KC said that the bank provided the support as part of its corporate social responsibility. He stated that the bank has assisted Gokuldham, which manages and raises animals abandoned on the streets, in running them in an orderly manner.
According to KC, road safety has also been helped with the operation of Gokuldham in a situation where accidents are increasing due to obstacles in the operation of vehicles due to stray animals left on the road.
Chief Executive Officer Koirala said that the bank has been supporting various organizations under social responsibility and Gokuldham has been supported in this way.
