Nepal Telecom expands 4G service at MBC and ABC
KATHMANDU:Nepal Telecom has expanded its 4G service to include the Machhapuchhre Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp regions.
Nepal Telecom spokesperson Hari Dhakal stated that the company has extended 4G coverage to the area by building new BTS at Machhapuchchhre Base Camp in the Annapurna Trail area of Kaski.
According to him, the 2G mobile service in Deurali, which is located along the trekking route, has been upgraded, and the 4G service has been extended to that area.
According to NTC, this tower is approximately 4,000 meters above sea level.
NTC claims that by extending service to the popular tourist destinations of Kaski, Machhapuchhre Base Camp, and Annapurna Base Camp, Local residents, visitors, and tourism organizations will benefit from the company's 4G services.
