Mountaineer Chatur Tamang successfully ascended Mount Elbrus for 146th time
KATHMANDU, June 19:Chatur Tamang, a mountaineer and guide, successfully climbed Mount Elbrus for the 146th time.
He stated that he scaled Mount Elbrus, Europe's highest mountain, around 8 a.m. Russian time last Friday.
Tamang, who has climbed Mount Elbrus to a height of 5,642 meters for the 146th time, has set a goal of climbing 200 times. Similarly, he has spent a long period working as a guide on Mount Elbrus in Russia and has been climbing it since 2002.
He has already climbed Everest, Lhotse, Kanchenjunga, Cho Oyu, Manaslu, Amadablam, Baruntse, Iceland Peak, Mera Peak, and others.
