Tara Air collects revenue of Rs 672 million in first nine months of FY 2023/24

KATHMANDU, June 17:Tara Air has collected  an (unrefined)  revenue of Rs 672 million in the first nine months of the current fiscal year (FY) 2023/24.

Tara Air's operational profit margin (OPM) has achieved 28%. The company's profit margin is improving as aviation fuel prices fall and income from the US dollar rises.

Tara Air has three Twin Otters that operate the STOL route.

Tara Air, Yeti Airlines' sister company, earned a revenue of more than 1 billion rupees in the previous fiscal year 2022/23, according to rating agency Icra Nepal. Yeti Airlines offers flight services on trunk routes.

The company made Rs 950 million in 2021/22 and Rs 470 million in 2020/21.
