Jhor waterfall

Jhor waterfall is located in the northern hills of Kathmandu near Tokha.The waterfall is about 11 km from Ring Road (Samakhusi Chowk) from Samakhushi. You can also find public vehicles on Samakhusi for the half way, afterwards the hiking trail starts.There is a temple of Shiva near the waterfall.

 

Simba waterfall

Simba waterfall is located in Mahankal Rural MunicipalityLalitpur about 50 km from Kathmandubetween Rigin Danda and Manikhel Khawa.The fall lies at an altitude of 2000 m,and it has five cascades.It is 300 meter tall. ‘Simba’ means cold in Tamang language.There is also a temple of Saraswati on the way to Lele from the fall.

 

Heaven Falls

The Heaven Falls waterfall is located in Godawari. The waterfall is 14.3 km from Kathmandu. It could be a short escape to anyone from Kathmandu within 1 hours. This road is good if you come to this place by the Badegaun Police station road. 

 

Sundarijal waterfall

Sundarijal waterfall is located in the north of Kathmandu, Gokarneshwor Municipality and provides quite an adventure throughout the short trek up to the beautiful waterfall. It is a perfect getaway destination for the weekend to visit with friends and family. You can reach there by public or private transportation.

 

Nagarkot waterfall

Nagarkot waterfall is located in Mahamanjushree Nagarkot. It is 26.1 km away from Kathmandu. The interesting hike is about 20-30 minutes, from Muhan Pokhari. The place is super scenic.

 

Chiseni waterfall 

Chiseni waterfall is located in Budhanilkantha. It is 14.6km and a hour from Kathmandu. You can have options like hike from Narayanthan if you travel in public transportation or hike from Dadagaun if you have private four wheeler.

 

Konjyosom waterfall

​​​​​​​Konjyosom waterfall the hidden gem, is located around 18 km from Gaushala in Kathmandu. You can find this hidden gem in the Lalitpur district of Nepal. A short hike and it takes 2 hours from Rato Ghar to reach the Jharana. It takes about 2 hour bike ride from Jhamsikhel to reach Rato Ghar.

 

Fung Fung waterfall 

Fung Fung Waterfall, 40 kilometers away from Kathmandu. It is also considered to be the longest and most spectacular waterfall in this district with a length of more than a kilometer and a height of more than hundred meters. takes approximately 2/3 hours from kathmandu valley to reach there. Upto Ranipauwa road condition is good enough .

 

Okhreni waterfall

Okhreni waterfall is located near by Sundarijal. It is just 9.2 km and 2 hours hike from Sundarijal. One need to do entry at army check point situated at chisapani road. Entry fee Rs. 100 per person and Rs.150 for bike or scooter. Rs. 600 for SAARC countries tourists and Rs.1000 for other tourist.

 

Mohini waterfall

Mohini waterfall is also kown as Mohini Jharana, Maha Jharana and Kulekhani Jharana. It is located 60km from Hetauda and 50km from Kathmandu. It is just a hour hike from Kulekhani after the boating. It has hike trail and beautiful environment. It has some amazing hotels like Kulekhani Damside Hotel with a amazing service and family friendly environment.
