Nepal's biggest tourism expo starts from today
KATHMANDU, June 14:The Nepal biggest tourism-related fair, Nepal International Tourism Expo 2024 (NITE), will begin today, Friday, in Kathmandu. The fair will run two days and will be promoted by the Nepal Tourism Board, supported by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City, and organized in collaboration with tourism-related organizations.The expo will begin on Friday and last two days at Kathmandu's Bhrikutimandap.
Bishnu Pandey, Managing Director of Summit Events and Markets, stated that the Nepal International Tourism Expo 2024 (NITE) brings together tourism-related businessmen, hotels, resorts, homestays, trekking, mountaineering agencies, airlines, and concerned individuals and organizations from Nepal and abroad to promote Nepal's tourism.
He stated that 16 countries, 150 sellers, 250 buyers, and over 1,000 tourists will attend the Expo. He informed me that the goal is to bring together various national and international tourism stakeholders for two days of networking, develop new collaborations, and establish long-term partnerships.
Organizers have announced that Bihar Tourism and Tourism Malaysia will also attend the expo.
The organizers think that the expo will feature panel discussions on various tourism-related themes, which will aid in the development of business ties. Summit Events and Markets estimates the festival's cost at Rs 18 million.
