Prabhu Bank and USAID Trade and Competitiveness partner for sustainable growth in agro and tourism sectors
KATHMANDU:Prabhu Bank Limited and USAID Trade and Competitiveness have signed an agreement for a project called Empowering Agro and Tourism Industry for Sustainable Growth for Future Nepal, which will be carried out in Bagmati Province to help develop agricultural and tourism businesses and create jobs in the country.
The deal was signed by USAID Trade and Competitiveness Representative Marcus Muller and the Bank's CEO, Ashok Sherchan.
According to the agreement, the two organizations share a common goal of working in the agriculture and tourism sectors to increase the availability and access to financial products and services for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in Nepal's economy in a sustainable way, as well as to encourage long-term job growth and income generation opportunities for those who are falling behind in economic growth.
