Pathao expands its 'Pathao Parcel' service nationwide in Nepal

KATHMANDU:Pathao Nepal, a well-known name in ride-sharing, has announced the statewide expansion of its 'Pathao Parcel' service. After several months of testing, the service currently covers over 300 places throughout Nepal.

Entrepreneurs in Kathmandu can particularly benefit from this service. If they need to send goods from Kathmandu to any location, they can rely on Pathao Parcel. For entrepreneurs within the Kathmandu Valley, parcels weighing over 20 kg can be picked up for free after 3 PM, with a delivery cost of just Rs 79 per parcel.

"Our company is establishing offices in various locations throughout Nepal," said Shashank Shamsher Thapa, the company spokesperson. "In the past five months, Pathao Parcel has facilitated delivery services for over 500 businesses and merchants." He further highlighted that during the trial period, Pathao successfully delivered more than 50,000 parcels per month.

To support entrepreneurs, Pathao offers 'dashboard' training, allowing them to track their parcels in real-time. According to the company, deliveries within the Kathmandu Valley are completed within 24 hours. In major cities outside the valley, deliveries are made on the second day, while in other areas, delivery times extend to within three days. Additionally, cash-on-delivery payments are deposited into the entrepreneurs' accounts within 48 hours.

With its own hubs in all major cities, Pathao Parcel is positioning itself as Nepal's largest delivery network. Beyond parcel delivery, Pathao also offers two-wheeler and four-wheeler ride-sharing services, along with Pathao Food and Pathao Market services.
