Numbering of Sauraha's street began
CHITWAN, June 01:The numbering of the street in Sauraha, the country's main tourist destination, has begun. Ratnanagar Municipality Ward Nos. 6 and 7, the Regional Hotel Association Chitwan, Restaurant and Bar Association of Nepal (REBAN), Nepal Tourism Board, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have all collaborated to begin street numbering.
The program was inaugurated by installing the street number 1 board. It is stated that 40 boards would be stored under this. Ganga Giri, head of the regional hotel association, stated that the road number will assist guests from all over the world in reaching their hotels and destinations in Sauraha.
He stated that numbering will be done on the street in Ratnanagar Wards 6 and 7, and that based on the findings, number boards will be placed in other locations as well. Sauraha's ticket will be completed by heading to Chitrasari Bridge, with the park office assigned a zero number. Under this, the Chitwan National Park ticket office in Sauraha will be treated as a zero number, and the journey will conclude at Chitrasari Bridge. According to the Regional Hotel Association Chitwan, street numbering was completed with the assistance of UNDP and the Nepal Tourism Board for Rs 4 lakh.
