Nangsal became the first Nepali woman to scale Lhotse and Everest in 47 hours

KATHMANDU, May 31:Nangsal Choedon Lama of Gorkha climbed the world's highest peak, Everest, and the fourth highest mountain, Lhotse, in 47 hours. With this successful ascent, she became the first Nepali woman to summit both Mount Everest and Mount Lhotse together.

Pioneer Adventure Company stated that Lama scaled Mt. Everest with climbing guide Kusang Dorchi Sherpa around 2:15 a.m. on May 23rd. On May 23, at 4:30 p.m., she successfully climbed Mount Lhotse.

Previously, the Lama of Samagaon scaled Manaslu peak. She began climbing from Everest's base camp, climbed Lhotse, and returned to the base camp in 47 hours.
