Rs 3.77 billion allocated for CAAN
KATHMANDU, May 29:Finance Minister Barsh Man Pun presented the annual budget for the fiscal year 2081/82 during a joint meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament has allocated 3.77 billion rupees to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).
The budget has been allocated for the development and upgrading of domestic airports around the country.
The construction framework for Nijgadh airport will be completed, while Bharatpur airport has been allocated 360 million rupees.
Bodachaur airport in Rolpa, Tarigaon airport in Dang, Jumla airport, Biratnagar airport, Dhangadhi airport, Surkhet airport and Nepalgunj airport will also be upgraded.
