Govt plans to bring in 1.6 million tourists next year

KATHMANDU, May 28:The government announced plans to bring in 1.6 million tourists in coming fiscal year 2081/82.

Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun announced this information while presenting the budget for the coming fiscal year.

He stated that profiles would be built to locate and develop new locations.

He also stated that the mountaineering permit system would be made automatic.

He said that such a campaign would be conducted in the border districts, saying that fairs aimed at tourists would be held in India and China.
