Jyoti Bikash Bank provides baby warmers to five health posts in Karnali Province

KATHMANDU:Jyoti Bikas Bank has provided baby warming machines to five health posts in Karnali Province. 

The bank has supplied a baby warmer (Nano Nani) machine, which is intended to keep the newborn infant's body temperature stable and prevent hypothermia. The bank has supplied equipment to health clinics and birthing centers in Jumla, Kalikot, Mugu, and Dailekh districts.

So far, the bank has provided 43 baby warmers around the country. The bank stated that the machines was provided since the rate of hypothermia is high, particularly in remote areas, putting the lives of newborns at risk. 

According to the bank, after the installation of the machine, the health institutions of Jumla, Kalikot, Mugu, and Dailekh will be directly benefited.
