Sun Nepal Life Insurance concludes its 7th AGM

KATHMANDU:The sixth annual general meeting of Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited took place on Wednesday.

A request to pay a dividend of 23.80 percent of the currently outstanding paid-up capital of 3.20 billion  from distributable profits has been approved. 

It has passed a resolution to distribute bonus shares and bonus shares worth Rs 761.6 million, which will serve as the basis for the previously stated percentage, and 1.2526 percent of which will be 40 million eighty-four thousand two hundred and ten rupees for the purpose of cash dividend tax.

The annual report for the fiscal year 2079-80, the fiscal year 2079-80 (NFRS), containing the auditor's report, the profit and loss account, the change in equity, and the cash flow statement, were approved by the general meeting. Similarly, financial statements and accompanying schedules, as well as the consolidated financial statements of subsidiary Sunlife Capital Limited for the fiscal year 2079/080, have been submitted.

One director, Sneha Sharma, has been elected to the board of directors from the general shareholders group for the fiscal year 2079/80.
