Nepal Micro insurers Association formed under chairmanship of Chirayu Bhandari

KATHMANDU:The 'Nepal Micro Insurers' Association' has been established as an umbrella organization for micro insurers. The newly founded association's president is Chirayu Bhandari, CEO of Guardian Micro Life Insurance.

Bishwaram Timila, CEO of Star Micro Insurance Limited, serves as the organization's vice president, with Naresh Kumar Roka, CEO of Protective Micro Insurance Limited, as secretary and Ramkumar Yadav, CEO of Liberty Micro Life Insurance Limited, as treasurer.

Similarly, the members include Ujjal Dhungana, CEO of Trust Micro Insurance Company Limited; Mrigendranath Rimal, CEO of Nepal Micro Insurance Company Limited; and Pratapman Shrestha, CEO of Crest Micro Life Insurance Limited.

President Bhandari stated that the association's mission is to safeguard the economic future of out-of-reach areas through insurance, to create and grow micro-insurance services, and to carry out various environmental protection activities.

President Bhandari stated that the microinsurance service will be high-quality and reliable by collaborating with domestic and foreign associations involved in the country's microinsurance business.

On Jestha 3rd, the Micro Insurers organization was properly registered with the District Administration Office in Lalitpur.
